CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE |
Dear Members,
Season's Greeting For A Happy & Prosperous New Year!
As promised, we are striving to be in regular touch with you through our newsletter. Firstly, we would like to thank you for your feedback at the Annual General Meeting.
We are also looking at some innovative measures at WIAA. To start with, we have inaugurated an Auto-Clinic, which will offer services at discount to our members.
We have also imported the first Driving Simulator in Western India, to improve the quality and efficacy of driver training. More information on the Simulator is given in this issue.
we have also added 2 more ambulances to our current ambulances service, one of which is stationed at South Mumbai.
WIAA has also received sanctions establishing a University for Safe Driving. This university would offer a comprehensive package on etiquette - training and driving - skills to its students; land allocations are awaited.
We look forward to more progress in the next year, with your encouragement and goodwill.

FROM THE DESK OF THE PRESIDENT |
Dear Members,
On 15th October of this year, our Association completed the 86th Year of dedicated services with a view to promote better motoring in our country.
The Managing Committee of our Association has bestowed upon me the honor of electing me as the President of this esteemed Association. The good traditions set up by illustrious predecessors and the work of rejuvenation of the Association initiated by them will be continued by me to the best of my ability.
In the coming year we have to solve some of the issues faced by neglected motorists. Issues concerning quality of cars, introduction of CNG gas, pollution, quality of roads, road-tax problems, shortage of parking spaces, towing away of vehicles will be given adequate attention. All this of course, would not be possible without the help and involvement of every single member of you all.
A more serviceable, friendly and vibrant WIAA is my goal and I am sure with your support, we shall make it happen.
