Western India Automobile Association has introduced Simulator training on car And Truck for the first time at Ahmedabad. Simulation is an imitation of some real device or situation. A Simulator is an artificial car / truck model, used in many countries like U.K., France, USA etc. It replicates real-life situations on the road and is used to train fresh drivers seeking to obtain permanent driving license.

The WIAA Castrol Institute of Motoring at Ahmedabad will be running full fledged courses to train light and heavy motor vehicle drivers.
The simulator has actual car controls whereby the driver gets the feel of driving a real car. There are rear view mirrors and three screens which depict the front & side views of the road. One can choose from variety of climatic, traffic and road conditions for driving.
