WIAA - FAMILY NAVIGATION RALLY was organized on Sunday, 5th February 2006. Birla Sunlife Insurance Co. Ltd. sponsored the event.

Over 70 cars participated in the rally. Members showed great enthusiasm in participating along with their families, totaling to about 200 people. The starting and finish points were Hutatma Chowk, Mumbai. The first car to be flagged off had Mr. Javed Ahmad, Inspector General of Police as its participant. There were various checkpoints located at different parts of Mumbai, which participants had to cover. Some landmarks which were included in the checkpoints were-St. Thomas Cathedral (Tamarind Street), Ballard Bunder Gate, The Fire Brigade Station at Nariman Point, INS Trata (Worli), Shivaji Park (Dadar), Bhikha Behram Well (Churchgate) and BMC Building.

Mr. Baichung Bhutia, Captain of the Indian Football Team visited our office at Mumbai on 28th April 2006 to attend a Press Conference which was held to promote the SOS Children's Villages of India - Charity Vintage Car Rally. Mr. Bhutia is an Ambassador of the SOS Children's Villages of India.



A Vintage Car Rally was organized on Sunday 30th April 2006. The VCCCI and WIAA helped in this noble venture to support the cause of collecting funds for the SOS Children's Villages of India
