WIAA entered into MOU with Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation on 24th January 2006 in presence of Shri. Vijaysinh Mohite Patil, Honourable Minister for Rural Development and Tourism, Maharashtra.

The MOU was signed by Mr. Nitin Dossa, Executive Chairman-WIAA and Mr. Bhushan Gagrani, Managing Director - MTDC. As per the MOU, MTDC will provide WIAA members discounts at their various resorts in the state of Maharashtra & WIAA would promote MTDC's The Deccan Odyssey' through its website and newsletters.

An article on tie up alongwith a photograph was published in the press and members have started taking advantage of the same.

Micro Technologies manufactures Vehicle Black Boxes which are used as Anti Vehicle theft devices.

The salient features of this Vehicle Black box is that through GPRS system, the vehicle owner comes to know at once about unauthorized entry into the vehicle can immediately immobilize the vehicle, find its location and protect the stereo.

WIAA and Micro Technologies have tied up till 31st December 2006 whereby WIAA members will get 15% discount on the purchase of each Micro Vehicle Black Box Unit.
